Can I just purchase digital files?

Absolutely!  Each Collection includes digital files.  I also offer a Digital Archive Collection of digital files only.  That being said, our goal is to narrow your favorites down to around 35.  That is the perfect number for an album & to enjoy without overwhelm.  I promise you don't need 200. I completely understand wanting digital files for future print needs, but I would love for every client to leave their session with professionally printed items to enjoy.

This will save you time, I promise!  How many times have you sat down to order images & gotten distracted or overwhelmed?  Yep, me too!  After 10 years of experience, I believe this shift is an absolute MUST.  I'm excited to spend a little extra time with you to walk you through the process.  I've done this countless times with my own family & my own seniors.  More files aren't better, they are just.....more (& overwhelming!).  Our lives busier than ever.  Let's maximize your time & make decisions!  I firmly believe you should be able to choose your own favorites, so we will sit down together for your big reveal & I'll help you compare images & select the very best.  We'll choose your yearbook photo, images for print, your favorite digital files, & depending on the collection you select - a custom album, custom photo app, or canvas. Your portraits will be enjoyed so much more in print than on your hard drive! 

Yes!  I strongly encourage adding a mini family session to your senior session.  This is the ONLY time I offer mini family sessions.  A mini family session can be added to your senior session for an additional $150 session fee.

I shoot senior sessions July-November.  August and September session dates fill the fastest.  I strongly recommend scheduling in July if you have a fall sport/activity.  I schedule morning & evening sessions Monday through Thursday.  Morning sessions begin before 9:00am, evening sessions about 1.5 hours before sunset.

Your in person viewing, selection, & ordering appointment will be scheduled approximately 2 weeks after your session @ my Red Barn Studio is located in Canby.  We will view your gallery & I'll help you narrow down your favorites.  Final selections will be made at this time and full payment is due. This appointment takes about 1 - 1.5 hours and is a lot of fun!  I recommend reviewing the Collections prior to this appointment to have an idea what you'd like to purchase/how you'd like your photos displayed. 

After over a decade in business, I've made some changes to help us both work smarter - gallery previews were being extended for increasing lengths of time & the seamless process was actually taking MORE time because clients were stuck in indecision.  An in person viewing, selection, & ordering session helps my clients make decisions & select favorites so images can be enjoyed.  You'll be able to touch, feel, & see the products you want to order & have the opportunity to purchase digital files, prints, albums, & a custom mobile app at your ordering session.

How many locations do I get to choose & can I schedule a longer session?

We'll definitely talk about that!  Your session will be completely tailored to you.  During your consult we will discuss locations that best fit your style.  I'm an expert at finding diverse locations within the same proximity & confident we can get the looks you want in 90 minutes.  There are always exceptions, of course & if you need a longer session due to driving time, we can definitely discuss options.  For most seniors & families, anything over 90 minutes isn't fun anymore.  I like to keep it easy & fun!
